Key Eligibility Criteria
- At least 30 years old
- Current or Former Smoker
- Living with HIV
- Emphysema on chest CT scan (can be done as part of screening for the trial)
What will happen during the study?
- Involvement in the study is approximately 72 weeks.
- Screening is done in 3 visits.
- Study visits after screening will be every 12 weeks.
- What will be asked of you:
- Several Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs).
- Two CT scans of the Chest.
- Blood, urine, and stool collection done throughout the study.
- Questionnaires asked several times throughout the study.
- Participants will be compensated for their time.
